The ice-skiff is a compact and light, yet very stable rescue craft designed and built with great attention to detail and function. The hull design allows for high speed and excellent maneuverability, as well as sledding - with push-bars fore and aft it is easily pushed over ice on its runners. The deck of the double-bottom is flat, self-bailing and accommodates a spine board. Run it straight into the ice and it climbs up when the ice can take the weight!
